Ooblets is an excellent farming RPG with loads of deep customisation options and a satisfying progression arc, that’s weighed down by an irritatingly cute aesthetic and a battle system that feels like it should have stayed in the oven for a few more hours.Īs far as being an early access game goes, you’d barely guess in terms of normal gameplay, as while there are a few bugs and glitches it’s nothing compared to how most AAA games launch nowadays.

The farming aspect is what you would expect, but it does come with some unique opportunities for your Ooblets! With each feature I unlock or quest I complete I feel like there are about 4 more things that are opened up to me! I usually am indecisive and have a hard time actually going from debating about purchasing a game to actually doing it. The jokes in the game are adorable as well. But in fairness I am only about 5 hours in. The dance battles are unique and fun although I feel that there should be more. Every little bit of the game has been crafted with such care. I have been able to relax and smile while playing because of the charming atmosphere and adorable creatures. I'm saying this not to share my life, but to express how thankful I am to this game.

Features: - Customize your character's style with a variety of unique outfits and accessories - Grow otherworldly crops on your farm, craft treats, and sell them in town - Build your own team of ooblets to participate in card-based dance battles, level up, and unlock new moves - Daily challenges, dance tournaments, townsfolk quests, and badges. But this one I felt I had to go out of my way to do so. Given the fact it did not have a proper review.
